What does the GP back-office include?

How does Brio handle capital calls and distributions?
Notices are generated directly from your LP data. Brio calculates each LP's amount, sends the communication, and logs exactly who was notified, when, and what was sent. For more complex situations, LP-level data can also be imported.
What can LPs do in their portal?
LPs access a white-labeled portal under your brand where they can view their document library (LPAs, subscription agreements, tax slips, and more), review capital call and distribution notices, access portfolio reporting, renew their KYC, and message your team directly. They can also review new investment opportunities and subscribe to funds online.
How does Brio integrate with my fund administrator?
Brio works alongside your fund admin, not in place of them. It handles the day-to-day LP layer, covering onboarding, communications, and compliance, and sends your fund admin clean, structured data exports. If you manage accounting internally, Brio integrates just as smoothly with your in-house team.
How does Brio handle KYC and compliance?
Compliance is built into every workflow, not bolted on afterward. Brio was designed with a Chief Compliance Officer for an Exempt Market Dealer GP, which means every onboarding, KYC renewal, document action, and capital call generates a logged, traceable record. Your full audit trail is always ready if a regulator comes calling.
Is LP data secure, and who controls access?
Brio is SOC 2 Type II certified, and all LP data is owned by you, not us. GPs control what each LP sees in their portal, with granular user permissions across the platform. Every action is logged.
